Dream City, Boston Children’s Museum

Dream City is the digital centerpiece of Dream It! Build It!, a permanent exhibit on construction, architecture, and engineering that opened in June 2026. Children imagine and sketch a structure (a building, a park, a spaceship dock) using a digital drawing tool, then send it to a shared display where it joins a growing collective city built from other visitors’ drawings, brought to life with animated rain, rainbows, and people at play. I developed the drawing tool children use to create and contribute their designs.
